​Low Light Training

Prerequisite requirement: Successful completion of the Level III Handgun training class.

​This class introduces the student to low light shooting concepts and will begin by discussing the effects of light on the human eye and examine techniques and tactics for operating in low-light environments to effectively acquire targets or identify threats.

Topics covered include several methods for using white lights to compensate for the effects of low-light. Students will conduct live-fire low-light shooting drills. Students will be able to use different provided lights to determine which one is most suitable for them.
