This course introduces the student to low light shooting concepts.
The class will begin by discussing the effects of light on the human eye and examine techniques and tactics for operating in low-light environments to effectively acquire targets or identify threats.
The course will cover several methods r using white lights to compensate for the effects of low-light. Students will then move out to the range to conduct live-fire low-light practical shooting drills. This course will be a pre-requisite for the advanced portion, which includes scenario-based exercises. The class will allow students to use different lights that will be provided in order to determine which lights are suitable for them.
